With increasing electrification in various industries, mechanical aspects such as bending radii, static and cyclic strength, and the overall reliability of cables are becoming increasingly important alongside electrical functionality. The seminar provides an overview of current methods for designing and verifying the operational reliability of cables. It is aimed at experts who deal with the mechanical load capacity of electrical wires and cables.

Our colleague Dr. Fabio Schneider-Jung from the »Mathematics for Vehicle Development” division is on site and gives two lectures on »Load Data Analysis for Cables for Comparative Operational Stability Assessment« and »Wöhler Curves for Predicting the Service Life of Cables«.
